November Book Haul…

Sooo… No Buy November was an epic fail!!!
I went really well until the town I lived in had a ‘community garage sale’ and the library was selling old books…

Ugggh!!! I arrived to the library late unfortunately, but I still managed to grab some awesome books… They gave you a big box for $10 and you could just fill it with as many books as possible… It was heaven!! Haha.

      1. Oh, start with Flowers in the Attic. There’s a LOT of incest in her books, so you need to warm up to it…like dipping a toe into the water. After awhile, you’ll wonder what you did without it! (The incest I mean) 😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂
        😂🤜🤛😂

        1. Hahah oh good. Probably don’t want to dive straight into that. Apparently there’s a bit of incest in The Thousandth Floor. I saw sooo many negative reviews and people slamming the book because of it. Like it’s not a nice subject, but it’s a book get over it. Don’t slam the whole book because of one part.

  1. Whoa, what an amazing haul 😍😍 and for such an amazing price too!! I think that’s a really good reason for breaking your ban haha. My library had a sale at the middle of the year and I’m dying for them to have another one haha.

I loooved The Deltora Quest books so much when I was a kid!! I really want to reread them.

    1. Thank god for library sales lol.
I ended up spending about $50 because I got 2 boxes full and some of the other books were from other garage sales in the area.

I know, I had forgotten about them until I saw this book. Definitely need to reread them!! I saw a copy in my local bookshop but it was all the books in one! I’m going back to get it when I get a chance lol.

  2. Holy moly! How did you even carry all these. I love the idea of a fill-it-all-you-want box. I probably would’ve went on a haul just as big. 😛 So many Harlen Coben books too! Hope you enjoy most of these when you get the chance to read them. Happy reading! 😀

  3. Impressive list, wow! Also, it’s almost Christmas so you are 100% allowed to break book buying bans. I’ve been on a book buying ban since October and somehow managed to keep it (many visits to the library and promising myself I can buy as many as I want in January with whatever money I get gifted, haha)

    1. Yay! Go you!!
I try telling myself that. But I live in a smallish town so sometimes I have to grab books when I see them or else they’re gone forever! Lol.
Imagine the book buying spree you will go on in January!! 😂 can’t wait to see your January book haul. 😊😊

  4. I am laughing sooo hard. Girl that was definitely a fail of epic proportions.. it is almost like you trained for that one haha 😛

My nonhusband would cry (because he knows when he sees me packing books in, it is time to head back to IKEA).

    You are the best ❤

    1. Haha why thank you 😉 but this is what happens when I’m on a ban, I just splurge and ruin it. But yes was an epic failure. Totally worth it 😂😂
      Non husband was not impressed.
I love IKEA!!! Best shop ever!!! Haha. I stole my sisters bookshelf because she wasn’t using it 😂😂😂

  5. Wow that is a lot of book. My library has a $3 bag of books sale every two to three months. I have only gone to two of them because until this year I never knew about because I didn’t go to the library. They also have bigger tote bags you can get for $5 and they might do boxes as well but I am not sure I usually just go for the $3 grocery bag full. They will be having there last sale of the year a little later in the month and I know I will more than likely go and get more books even though I really don’t need any more right now but it’s to good of a deal to pass up.

    1. I’ve read a few of Coben’s books, mostly the newer ones. I love them! So happy I managed to snag a few of them.
I’m glad you enjoyed What Alice Forgot. I’ve read her other books and love them so I was hoping this one is as good 😊😊
Haha super busy. I’ll still be reading these books for the next 20 years.
